The architecture project by Nuno Ladeiro and Marco Martins, is inserted in the urban core of Vila Nova de Tazem, a small country town near Serra da Estrela, in the north of Portugal, which is characterized by a consolidated urban fabric, whose predominant characteristics are buildings of 2 and 3 floors for residential.

In this 1923 year old house renovation project, the architect Ricardo Moreno was faced with one of the most difficult tasks an Architect may have, to develop the design and construction of its own home. 

This work was a challenge and intent to understand the techniques and materials of the time, mandatory in this kind of construction. 

The Tire Shop is MARK+VIVI's inaugural project located in the transitioning city of Verdun, Quebec. 

Originally built in 1920, the Tire Shop’s newly exposed structure supports the playful integration of simple, raw, modern, industrial materials with smart and efficient design. 

The arrangement of this house is born of the radical choice to place the required swimming pool in the very heart of it. 

The house can either create a unique relationship in continuity with its garden, or otherwise preserves family life.

In the evening, this "water lantern" illuminates the house and evokes that "No matter the journey, as long as the horizon is vast".

Located in the heart of the Villeray district, the De Gaspé House project consisted of the major renovation of an existing building that lost most of its original characteristics.

The old duplex including a garage as well as a variety of annexes was transformed into a single family home for two adults and two children.
