The fluidity of the plan, the simplicity of lines, the omnipresence of white and well-assembled materials celebrate the dynamism of simple geometrical forms that contribute to the sculptural effect.
"La Ascensión del Señor" church
AGi architectsThis church is very close to the community, reaching the transcendental through the existing social problems and needs. Our goal has been to open the space for community use, making it more human.
The project is also extremely sensitive to the current economic circumstances, so we have resorted to materials and construction techniques chosen by economical saving and sustainability premises.
Dune House
Fearon Hay ArchitectsThe house is located on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, an hour’s drive north of Auckland. The site sits within a natural dune zone adjacent a long white sand beach.
The house is nested into the dunes - the lower level is almost completely hidden by its sunken integration into the landscape.
Son La Restaurant
Vo Trong Nghia ArchitectsThe project maximized use of local resources including workers and affordable local materials. With this situation, local bamboo and stonework was selected to be the main materials of the building.
To adapt to the tropical monsoon climate and a more temperate but still hot dry season, the building is composed by 8 separate stone buildings and a open air bamboo dining hall to supply both contained air-conditioned rooms and comfortable exterior dining.
Breath Box
NAS architectureThe “Breath Box” is an ephemeral installation for the Festival des Architectures Vives at La Grande Motte, France.
The wind comes lift the many reflective modules, providing a duality between visual experience and reflection ripple. The recomposed mirror is deformed under the influence of wind, making them interact with the natural elements and the senses.
