A Flight over Porto

European Best Destination 2014
By ArchReady - 07/Apr/2014

Porto was elected the Best European Destination 2014 and won the title ahead of 19 big European cities. European Best Destinations is a nonprofit organization that partnerships with various travel agencies to promote tourism, culture, quality and unique characteristics of European cities.

To celebrate this event, Atmos Aerial Filming has done a magnificent video that invites you to fly above the "Cidade Invicta" (unvanquished city), at the sound of Pink Floyd, and discover new perspectives of some of the most significant architectural and urban examples of Porto, such as the Casa da Música, Tower of the Clerics, Arrábida Bridge, D. Luís Bridge, City Park, Foz, amongst many others.

The "Cidade Invicta” was considered to be an exceptional city, in more ways than one: history, architecture, culture, gastronomy, trade, encounters and discoveries.

From a stunning landscape with the charm of the Douro river and its magnificent bridges to a fascinating architecture that crosses many historical periods, routes and places that invite you to discover yet another reason to fall in love with this city: markets, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, gardens, museums, libraries or places by the sea, places to have fun, relax or taste a cup of the finest wine.

There is also a highlight on a vibrant culture that one can feel in the city, with several places where art and creativity manifest in its most diverse forms.

The hospitality of this amazing city is already well known and promises to conquer increasingly more hearts!
