Concrete floors are widely used by architects and designers for its durability, and a variety of colors and textured finishes that provide a wide spectrum of design possibilities.

Increasingly aware to the impact of human intervention in our ecosystem, artebel® developed ECOPAVÊ®, a pavement that besides enabling various patterns offer high water permeability to the soil, allowing diverse possibilities for grass growing.

This permeable pavement is a sustainable choice for exterior spaces, allowing replenish the soil with filtered water, reducing drain levels and its impact on urban infrastructures.

With the application of this pavement water cycle is not interrupted, contributing substantially towards environmental improvement.

ECOPAVÊ® is intended for execution of multipurpose pavements for outdoor areas, whether as complement of a garden area, pedestrian zones, access paths or parking areas, with more or less covered area and with more or less water permeability.

The ECOPAVÊ® pavement assures the functional safety regulatory requirements, comfort and durability, resisting to different loads, from pedestrians, light and heavy vehicles (occasional).

It is a very effective solution regarding soil permeability since the chosen application scheme may enhance water infiltration, providing an environmentally friendly solution, depending on the permeability quantified by the adopted design pattern.

The ECOPAVÊ® pavement allows various types of assembly, and may be applied as a whole surface or in order to allow permeability levels from 11% to 22% depending on the design pattern. The various possible mounting schemes allow a pavement spacing of 8x8cm, 8x16cm or 16x16cm.

Main advantages:

  • High mechanical resistance;
  • Reduced slip rate;
  • Quick and easy application;
  • Economy of skilled manpower;
  • Multiple designs patterns possible.
