Modern construction cannot do without comfort, therefore energy efficiency in thermal performance of buildings is increasingly important.

Maintain thermal stability within a home does not necessarily involves excessive energy consumption. artebel

provides you several block alternatives in order to fulfill the required criteria.

The TÉRMICOproETICS block was designed considering masonry walls with external thermal insulation, ensuring great energy performance. TÉRMICOproETICS is a lightweight concrete block made with expanded clay aggregates Leca.

Its thermal performance in conjunction with ETICS constitutes a regulated double wall alternative solution, without resorting to other costly materials.

It features a male-female fitting, which allows performing dry vertical joints. It is ideal to use in combination with ETICS product.

Main advantages:

  • Thermal insulation
  • High profitability
  • Simplicity in implementation
  • Reduced consumption of laying mortar
  • Dimensional stability
  • Reduced capillarity absorption
  • Verticality and planimetry of the surfaces

A new concept for energy efficiency - 90% reduction in energy consumption.

artebel has joined the initiative of the first Passive House building in Portugal, a concept from Germany and expanding across Europe which promotes the development of houses with nearly zero energy requirements for heating or cooling, allowing up to 90% reduction in energy consumption.

The projects comprise artebel thermal masonry blocks, allowing excellent isolation results with simple TÉRMICOproETICS walls and posterior insulation from the outside. Besides supplying the TÉRMICOproETICS blocks, artebel also provided support in some detailing solutions and throughout the building stage of the Passive House.
