With spring’s arrival, why not receive it properly?
Ready or not, it’s time to leave behind our cozy winter blankets and finally turn-off the heater, let the fresh spring air come in, with all its colors and fragrances. Spring always brings a sense of renewal, of change, is the beginning of life and the blossoming of flowers. It’s the promise of longer days and a blue sky. And what better to make us enter the spirit that this time of year so richly deserves, than a spring decoration?
As well as outside the trees turn to cover with colored robes of various forms, the first step to announce the arrival of spring are the flowers.
In short – plants are always a good idea. This is probably the most cliché claim of the season, but there so it does not cease to deserve its prominence! A list of some key points for a successful invasion of nature to our housing follows.
1 - Greenery
Simply let the green in. It makes all the difference and thankfully comes in all shapes and sizes, the biggest problem is to choose. Plants are the most effective and environmentally friendly way to cool our homes and add life to previously empty spaces. Therefore, if there are any unfilled corners, here's the solution.

Reduced space it is also not an obstacle, the installation of a mini indoor garden is a fantastic way to beautify our home. And why not build it with some of our day-to-day items? Improvise pots may be the answer: teacups, kettles, lamps, watering cans, empty jars, old rain boots and even umbrellas, whatever is more handy and comes to your mind.

2 - Botanical Prints
Another way to let outdoors in is through the use of botanical prints. Framed prints on the wall, not only look great hanging, but can also easily be purchased from any store or even homemade (here’s a link to an interesting tutorial that may help in that regard).

Or else, we can also look for textiles with botanical prints, such as bedspreads, bed sheets or even pillows.

3 - DIY flowers
A flowery background adds color, texture and life to any place. And instead of bringing the plants indoor, why not create them already there? The ingredients needed are merely pieces of paper or even napkins, teams up a little creativity and let the final result do the rest. Here are five examples with tutorials that will certainly help in the preparation off the “do it yourself” flowers.
