Floating pool in NY
+ Pool capable of filtering river waterThe idea of building a public swimming pool floating in the East River came as a consequence of hot summers in New York and the lack of recreational aquatic areas in the city, prevented by the rivers need for treatment and infrastructure.
The project is called + Pool and aims to build a floating pool capable of filtering river water, and provide at the same time a clean, safe and natural environment, where everyone can swim.
Dream it…Book it…Love it
Love Tiles awards to students from University of AveiroStudents from the Department of Design Communication and Arts of University of Aveiro (DECA), Course of Project Design in Enterprises, received from Love Tiles, the award released under the theme "Dream it ... Book it ... Love it" which resulted in the creation, design and implementation of new ideas and innovative projects in graphic design.
The awards ceremony took place last July 12 at the University of Aveiro, highlighting the works by Tiago Santos, in 1st place, and Cristina Fernandes and Emanuel Oliveira, in two honourable mentions.

Architects Pedro Domingos and Toni GironèsThe ceremony of the FAD Architecture Award 2013 occurred on 11 July in Barcelona, ending the FAD Fest, Festival of Design and Architecture, held in the Catalan capital over 15 days.
The FAD Architecture Award was delivered ex aequo to the architects Pedro Domingos, for his project of a school in Sever do Vouga, and Toni Gironès by his project of Dolmen Megalithic Space in Seró.
