Following the successful first edition, the Arquiteturas Film Festival Lisboa is back!

Between 24 and 28 September, the City Cinema Alvalade and the Cinemateca receive the second edition of this event that celebrates the encounter between cinema and architecture.

How can we stand and watch an iconic work of one of the most famous and acclaimed architects of all times fall into ruin?

Let’s contribute and help to spread the word on this campaign so that we can save this architectural masterpiece, an important part of the legacy from one of the greatest architects ever.

RE9 is the name of the program launched by the Municipality of Lisbon with the aim of providing very favorable solutions for anyone who intends to remodel homes and buildings.

Besides allowing proprietors to renovate at a lower cost, this program presents several advantages for the economy and businesses, contributing to a more beautiful and valued image of the city.

This year edition of the Electrolux Design Lab 2014 had more than 1700 participants from around the world, presenting the most intelligent solutions and provocative designs for healthy domestic environments designed for the future.

Among the semi-finalists chosen for the final stage of the competition is the project "Little Helper" by Rita Moreira, from ESAD - Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Matosinhos, Portugal.

The 25th International Union of Architects World Congress of Architects, UIA 2014 Durban, is being held at the International Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa, from 3-7 August 2014. 

The Congress theme is ‘ARCHITECTURE OTHERWHERE’ and will celebrate diversity by exploring other communities, other regions, other disciplines, and other ways of thinking about, practicing and teaching architecture.
