Quality, innovation and design: “The perfect appliances for the perfect home!” – this is the motto from the notoriety campaign that AEG has just launched in Portugal through a partnership with the designer Maria Barros.
As appliances are increasingly assuming a prominent role in home decor, AEG seeks to strengthen its premium positioning, enhance its reputation and demonstrate its values and differentiation factors, to raise the consumer's desire for their products.
Maria Barros, recognized designer and interior decorator, is the image of the campaign, which has the claim - AEG, The search for perfection by Maria Barros.
The project was presented at the designer's atelier in Cascais where, in a relaxed atmosphere, Maria Barros explained how she reached the brand when looking for the ideal partner to remodel her kitchen, and how AEG appliances captivated her for their quality, innovation and design: "The perfect appliances for the perfect home!" – It was the beginning of a partnership and the motto for the campaign.
The event featured a delicious brunch prepared by Chef Nuno Barros from Restaurante 1300 Taberna, who surprised the participants with a showcooking where unveiled some secrets for your perfect dish - smoked duck with mashed almond and orange gel - which delighted all guests.
The designer will work as a specialist consultant for the brand, participating in a few initiatives for consumers, by answering their questions, doubts about decoration, design or choosing the perfect appliance at AEG website. Consumers are also invited to say "What is perfection for you?" and get a copy of the book “Casa Feliz – um guia prático de decoração”.
This campaign will be supplemented by online and offline advertising, in different specialized and generalist media throughout the year 2014.
Ângela Pereira, Marketing Team Leader at Electrolux Portugal, group to which AEG belongs, reveals that "AEG is a premium brand, for consumers who demand perfection and that values design, high performance and quality. We believe that Maria Barros is the ideal person for this campaign’s image, reflecting the values the brand AEG."
In turn, Maria Barros says "I found in AEG a balanced formula of quality, performance and design." "I feel like my kitchen and my family are in good hands," adds the designer.
Maria Barros also revealed that this partnership with AEG will result in the remodeling her own house, so it will soon be news on this subject.
