An innovating sliding door

The Austrian Klemens Torggler recent invented the "Evolution Door", an innovative hinged door based on rotation squares that make the door move sideways without the use of tracks on the floor neither on the ceiling.

Thanks to a special system geometrically articulated and interconnected by rotating parts, a slight push is enough to trigger this interesting mechanism that makes it possible to place the squares one upon the other in the final positions of the door.

The process is really fascinating, as you can see through the videos.

It may not be the most practical system or one that requires less space, but it is without a doubt unique and may help to improve the character of a space in a unique way.
