Archikidz Lisboa
Architecture in a kid’s world
For all the kids who dream of being architects when they grow up, Archikidz is coming to Lisbon.
It is a free access workshop party where, in a playful and creative way, children can contact with the world of architecture.
The idea came up in Amsterdam for over a decade and its huge success has caused Archikidz to replicate into different cities around the world such as Rotterdam, Bergen, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Barcelona and now Lisbon.
Archikidz Lisboa invites children between 7 and 12 years to get their hands dirty by creating a model of a house with guidance from architects and professionals. The party promises lots of fun and takes place on Sunday 23 March, between 15h and 17h30 in Torreão Poente of the Terreiro do Paço.
Integrated in Urban Rehabilitation Week, the event is supported by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa and Ordem dos Arquitectos, as well as many architects and professionals from this sector that have joined this initiative voluntarily.
