Artebel® provides a construction system that combines the Bloco Megatérmico® ideal for exterior walls, with XPS thermal insulation, designed to cover pillars and beams, ensuring the correction of thermal bridging, providing increased thermal comfort to interior spaces.
The Bloco Megatérmico® is a lightweight concrete block made from expanded clay aggregates Leca for single wythe masonry construction.

It is designed for masonry whose essential requirements are high performance in thermal insulation and a simple construction process, integrating a set of elements that define a single wythe masonry construction system with distributed isolation.

The thermal insulation consists of laminar thermal element in compact concrete and extruded polystyrene (XPS). It features a mechanical strength layer made of cement additives, fibres and inert materials, selected from 2 to 4mm, which provide a porous texture finish, improving the adherence of plaster, combined with a 5cm polystyrene (XPS) layer with straight perimeter cutting.
