Challenges: Contemporary Architecture & Decoration

In a joint organization, Margres and Love Tiles promote, on the 3rd July, the conference "Challenges of Contemporary Architecture and Decoration", with the participation of two references in Architecture - NLA – Nuno Leónidas Arquitectos and NL Decoração - and Interior Design - Nini Andrade Silva Atelier.

This conference gathers renowned speakers in a space also a reference in terms of architecture in Portugal: the recently opened Hotel Sana Myriad. This hotel, which Some have compared to the famous Burj Al Arab, takes advantage of a prime location and an iconic building in the city of Lisbon, the Vasco da Gama Tower. Built in perfect symbiosis with the existing Tower Vasco da Gama, the building of the Hotel Myriad enhances the landscape of the Parque das Nações and exalts architecture in Portugal.

This space was chosen to stage the conference which features the architect Nuno Leonidas atelier NLA - Nuno Leonidas Arquitectos, responsible for the design of the hotel and Teresa Leonidas Atelier NL Decoration responsible for its interior design project.

NLA - Nuno Leonidas Arquitectos is a reputed architectural firm, recognized by the quality standards of their projects, as evidenced by more than two hundred accomplishments and excellent ratings in competitions at national and international levels.

Nini Andrade Silva is another reputed guest in the area of interior design. Listed among the best interior designers in the world and awarded projects internationally, Nini Andrade is referenced as a standard of excellence in this area for publications such as The New York Times, Financial Times, Condé Nast Traveller, Wallpaper, Sleeper, Harrords or Hinge Magazine, among others.

The conference, sponsored by the brands Margres and Love Tiles, is primarily intended for architects, decorators, interior designers and professionals from these areas. As its name suggests, this event aims to present new trends in architecture and decor with a focus on how we should (re) consider spaces.

Pre-registration take place at the website created specifically for this event - www.desafiosdaarquitetura.com - and are limited to a maximum number of 100 participants per session. There will be two sessions, one during the morning and another in the afternoon.
