FAD Awards 2014 - Architecture and Interior Design
Applications until 29 January
Within the context of FADfest, the event that unites all FAD design awards, ARQUINFAD calls for the 56th edition of the FAD AWARDS 2014.
The scope of the prize covers the Iberian Peninsula and the islands belonging to Spain and Portugal. All works finished between 1 January and 31 December 2013 can apply in the following categories: Architecture, Interior Design, City and Landscape, and Temporary Interventions.
Any person, entity or institution interested in these awards may propose as many works as it deems appropriate, regardless their typology, program and budget by formalizing the form available in arquinfad.org.
The deadline for the proposed works and presentation of the relevant material to the FAD AWARDS 2014 on this call will end at 12:00 pm on 29 January 2014.
The Board of directors of ARQUINFAD named this year's Awards jury, chaired by Ramon Sanabria and integrated by Ángela García de Paredes, Marcos Catalán, Francesc Belart, Ricardo Bak Gordon and Esther Brosa.
The jury may also agree awarding a special prize ARQUINFAD to the work or career that through its exceptionality represents a transcendent contribution to our culture.

May also apply to the FAD Prize for Thought and Criticism 2014 all texts, publications, webs, blogs and other media related to the city, the landscape, the architecture, interior design, etc. which have contributed significantly to foster debate and criticism as accurate on the Iberian Peninsula to formulate the foundations of our culture.
In order to recognize the role of writing in architecture, this category distinguishes all the works related to the "thought" and "criticism", published in the Iberian Peninsula between January 1 and December 31, 2013.
This year, the Board of directors of ARQUINFAD named Anthony Pizza, Juan Calatrava and Moses Puente to form the jury, which may also award a special prize ARQUINFAD the work of one of the categories that by their exceptionality represent a transcendent contribution to our culture.
