Freebloco® fast and efficient

The sustainability of materials and building systems is an increasingly relevant concern these days, in terms of resource saving, energy efficiency, waste reduction and maintenance needs.

Artebel has developed Freebloco® so construction works become faster and with less need of using power tools.

Freebloco® is a lightweight concrete block designed to build simple walls, partitions or double walls. Its composition in hardened expanded clay allows splitting and trims without resorting to power tools, making it easy to quickly open holes in perfect forms, while avoiding having to clean up debris.

Its standard dimensions and reversible laying allow it to adapt to every type of work, from reconstructions, rehabilitations or simple improvements.

Its inner core free with 7x7cm, allows the passage of cables and piping with no problems, dispensing with the traditional opening of vertical grooves for the passage of electric cabling, thereby preventing the deterioration of the wall, over the medium and long term.

In addition to providing sound insulation up to 40 dB, the Freebloco® provides a faster and more efficient building system, with high profitability in the laying, using 80% less laying mortar compared to traditional masonry.
