Domotics, a concept associated with the so-called "intelligent houses", is something that has been talked about for some time, but few people know exactly what it means, what are its characteristics and advantages of its use. What is it?

Domotics arises in the 80s, and is therefore a technology considered recent, that despite having 30 years of market, is not sufficiently implemented to be considered a popular solution.

This technology allows a remote management of various housing features, significantly improving comfort levels and energy efficiency of a space, contributing to a better quality of life for its users:

Lighting - you can control electricity consumption, wisely adjusting the lighting needed, for example, using motion sensors and timers associated with the lamps.

Climatization - you can program the heating and air conditioning, adjusting to the needs of each space for each hour of the day, to use energy in the best way possible.

Safety - even while absent, you can control the security of your home through sensors, cameras and alarms, or using options for central locking devices, or automatic blinds and lighting to simulate the presence of people.

Communication - it is possible to communicate from and to multiple devices connected through wireless systems, remotely, without the need to be present, using a computer or even a smartphone.

Scheduling - allows you to program various domestic appliances in an automated way, to start or finish their tasks at a specific time of the day.
