proSolve 370e

The proSolve 370e is a powerful coating that when applied to infrastructures close to pollution sources, a road or a tunnel for example, significantly reduces air pollution, through a process of neutralization of nitrous oxide (NOx), a pollutant that comes from automobile traffic.

It consists on a trellis structure coated with a titanium dioxide (TiO2) which, in contact with ultraviolet rays and moisture from the air, extinguishes the effects of pollution. 

The organic shape of this structure, in addition to its sculptural and beautiful appearance, was created to enhance the capture of light.

This project arises from the urgent need to implement measures under the European Strategy for Pollution Reduction, improve the air quality cities, highly susceptible to gases from combustion engines. 

The proSolve 370e was developed by the German company Elegant Embellishments and is already applied in three buildings, including a hospital building in Mexico City.
