Urban Rehabilitation Week Porto 2014

Porto bet hard on Urban Renewal, with a long-term strategy that shows signs of urban and social renewal. Vida Imobiliária and Promevi, in partnership with the City of Porto and Porto Vivo SRU, propose an Urban Rehabilitation Week, full of events, that marks the calendar of the city and the country. A number of initiatives with focus on recovered areas and buildings in the city, attracting professionals and the general public, residents and visitors, to highlight the social impact of urban rehabilitation.

From 24 to 30 November, the II Rehabilitation Urban Week Porto 2014 is an event whose program will be marked by five thematic sessions focused on the issue of urban rehabilitation.

This is the 2nd edition of the event, and has the novelty of five days of thematic conferences, taking place at the Porto Commercial Athenaeum. Each session will feature the involvement of a Commissioner to the theme, reinforcing the spirit of the partnerships that have marked and boosted the events of the previous Urban Rehabilitation Weeks.

This year, the late afternoons will be devoted to various thematic meetings and social gatherings, which are intended to be moments of sharing ideas among professionals and the public, and in the end-of-week will be held an architecture workshop for children: Arquibrinca.
