Ideas for decorating children's bedrooms
Generally most people leave the decoration of the children's bedroom to after knowing the baby’s gender. But actually, any family wants to have the perfect room to receive their newest member, regardless of the chosen color for the walls or the child’s gender.
There are a countless number of tasks and choices that are necessary so nothing fails for the right time! If color is important, so is the right choice of furniture to give the room the quality that is needed for the baby, as well as facilitate the use of space for everyday tasks.
# 1 Furniture Choice
Before focusing on choosing the color, the choice of furniture is even more important. It is important that you choose the furniture thinking about utility first and not on aesthetics, so instead of too much furniture, you can opt for one having multiple functions, thus optimizing space and concentrate multiple tasks within the same area.
It also indicated that the furniture is simple, with smooth surfaces and without too many ornaments, to prevent accumulation of dust and the difficulty of keeping everything clean, so that the child may be in the room in an appropriate manner.
In the case of recycling furniture you already have, it is extremely important to be very careful with the materials used for recycling, which must always be of the utmost quality and preferably hypoallergenic. You must also always be very careful to avoid leaving exposed corners or potentially dangerous areas for growing up children.
#2 Decorating Walls
Walls are also very important, since the first months of their lives, children spend most of the time inside the room, and so their walls are the only scenery available.
The ideal is to customize the walls with small objects made by the family, avoiding spending money and buying things that do not have a symbolic story for the child. Walls must have clear and soft colors, giving serenity to children and to the parents themselves who will spend much time there, so the ideal would be a beautiful bone white, a pale blue, a pale yellow, a light pink or a beige tone. The details on the walls will highlight everything else and give more character to room.
Frames with family pictures, letter cards with the child's name, pictures painted with the child’s tiny hands and feet or simply a wall decal with the family name could be great ideas to complement your child's room decoration.

#3 Organizing Space
Organizing the bedroom is crucial to achieve the goals which the room is proposed. In the first months, the baby will be just lying on the cradle and space may seem huge, but a few months later, the child will be all over the house spreading everything and will need a proper space to play and unleash the imagination.
So the ideal would be planning a space which could be used simultaneously for playing and sleeping.
