The IS ARCH Awards, for the 3rd consecutive year, held the international competition for students of architecture and young architects, highlighting the best works.

On the 9th of December, the results were announced. Of the 159 candidates, emerged 3 winners, 10 special mentions and 30 finalists.

The architecture and its basic elements, this is one of the architect Rem Koolhaas assumptions for the development of the exhibition "Elements of architecture."

The ceremony of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2013 will be held at the Castle of S. Jorge in Lisbon, next Friday the 6th of September 2013.

The shortlist for this US$ 1 million prize range includes 20 nominees, from a modern high rise apartment block to the revival of traditional building techniques.
