2014 FIFA WORLD CUP - Symbolic Structure

[AC-CA] website is launching an international competition for an iconic structure that will represent the 2014 FIFA World Cup to take place in 2014 in Rio de Janeiro.
The piece would be placed in Lapa neighborhood during the cup, which will take place from 12th of June to the 13th of July 2014.
The purpose is to encourage the design of a small scale structure that integrates function, form, detail and the world cup’s spirit. It is also intended the use of sustainability in the proposal.
Registration must be made until 30th of June and the proposals submitted until 5th of July. The winner will receive a prize of US$ 3.500.
