Feng Shui for the Holidays

Choose the best way to live!
By Paula Margarido, Architect Feng Shui Consultant - 26/Jul/2013

The holidays are coming, it is time to take a break, to recharge your energies and make an energetic clean in ourselves.

It is the best time to think about our welfare and choose the best way to live...

How to plan an entire vacation focused on the welfare and tranquillity?

The warm season comes and we want to choose a place to spend a few days of well-deserved vacation. There are plenty of attractive tourism options in, both on the coast and in the countryside.

Choose only the beach can be a limited option. The countryside and contact with nature are extremely important, especially if you have children.

There are plenty of "secret" beaches, with a dirt track access, between cliffs, where you will find peace and tranquillity.

Stroll on the beach by the sea, in the early morning, when the sun is low. It's refreshing to receive such an ascending energy by the morning.

Enjoy more sleep. During the year we should sleep at least seven hours a night. The implementation of Feng Shui techniques in your bedroom can be essential to ensure a good night sleep.

For this reason, the location and style of the bedroom, in addition to the bed position, should ensure resting conditions, for better relaxation and vitality.

Try some meditation. Meditate on who you are, what defines you and make a list of things that you would like to improve. Write down the important points that arise in your mind.

Most of physical pains are caused by excess or by deficiency of chi energy in a localized area. Breathing techniques, allied with positive imagery exercises, will help your body to receive positive emotional energy.

You can also try Reiki, this process balances and encourages the flow of chi energy, helping to eliminate some "blocks" and align your "chakras".

In vacation time, if you get a chance, try a massage. There are plenty of options to choose from, ranging from hot stone massages, massages with sound (with Tibetan bowls), among others. Besides the relaxation provided, it can be quite invigorating.

You can find health spas at hotels by the coast or thermal baths in the countryside offering a full package of relaxation and health activities which, in addition to health spas treatments, offer yoga and Pilates, spiritual retreats, healthy meals, among other zen activities. There are many varied options that you can choose from in order to experience a "different" day.
