Three Portuguese projects are among the winners of the International Prize Building of the Year 2015, by Archdaily that annually awards projects that stand out for innovation: spatial, social, material and technical.

Among the 9 Portuguese projects nominated from the 70 finalists chosen from a universe of 3,500 projects around the world, three of them were victorious.

The Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura was awarded the Wolf Prize for Architecture last Sunday, May the 5^th, at the Israeli Parliament in a ceremony attended by President Shimon Peres.

Following Álvaro Siza Vieira, who won the same prize in 2001, Eduardo Souto de Moura is the second Portuguese to receive this award which also honored personalities related to Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Agriculture.

"Sky Spotting Stop" is the first project from the Istanbul Modern YAP: Young Architects Program, in collaboration with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and MoMA PS1 and co-sponsored by Garanti Bank, Polimeks and Vitra.
